"Blue Screen of Death" Error Message
I continue to get the famous "Blue Screen of Death", which states that the computer shut itself down to prevent damage. Each time there is a different error message. I was told to write down the error message the next time this happened and send it to a technician at Microsoft, so he/she will know exactly what it triggering this continued problem. So here it is!STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xF62E868D, 0xED730BC0, 0x00000000)WATCHDOG.SYS - ADDRESS F62E868D BASE AT F62E8000, DATESTAMP 41107d241 person needs an answerI do too

If you are getting different Stop Errors (and watchdog.sys is a Windows file), then you probably have hardware failure. You can test the hardware yourself or take the computer to a reputable local professional. Don't use a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place.http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_TshootStart with the RAM and then the hard drive.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
